Are You and Your Partner Spiritually Connected?
At some point or another, everyone has that relationship that seems like it should work, but it just doesn’t. The two of you are perfect for each other on paper. You want the same things out of life. You laugh at each other’s jokes. You enjoy one another’s company, but something’s missing. You can’t quite put your finger on it, but you just know that it’s not going to work out. There are a few reasons for this, but the most common is a lack of spiritual connection.
What is spiritual connection? It’s deeper than liking the same foods, sharing an affinity for the same types of movies, or even sexual attraction and intimacy. When you’re spiritually connected with your partner, you don’t just fit together; you become completely entwined. The two of you really bond spiritually, feeling closer than two separate souls could be.
When you’re really spiritually connected to your lover, you feel as though you’ve known them your entire life. You feel as though you can tell each other everything, and you do.
Being spiritually connected is not the same as being codependent. The two of you can lead your own independent lives. You can exist on your own, go out separately with your friends or by yourselves, but when you come back together, you feel a sense of joy and relief. When you’re together, you can drop your public personas. Being connected like this is a huge stress reliever, as you have someone who you can go to without any masks. You can be your true selves and help each other through all of your ups and downs.
If you pay attention to your spiritual connections, both romantic and platonic, you will be able to cultivate deep, bonding relationships that will create positivity and health in your life.
